The Great Stadium Debate

What do the politics and controversy surrounding the proposed new Ti-Cats/Pan Am stadium tell us where power lies in our city? Who has it and who does not? Who gets heard and who is dismissed? Who gets to make economic decisions that affect the city and who is left out? What role do major league sports and sport franchise owners play in shaping the city's economy and politics? How are major sporting events like the Pan Am Games used to push certain agendas and whose interests are best served?
