Envisioning Session for a
Fall 2008 Conference on
Activism & Community Organizing
Sunday June 22, 1:30pm
Jack Purcell Community Centre
Ottawa
Come help plan / plant the seeds for a gathering focused on strategy, vision and tools for activism and organizing in our communities, based on libertarian and anti-authoritarian principles!
This conference will be something of a continuation of the popular Anarchist Assembly, building on its successes of bringing together people on three seperate
occasions, while including more diversity, more education, and more mutual aid. For more on the Anarchist Assemly, see http://roadnetwork.org/main/html/article/104
This conference will also draw on experiences of healthy
community-building conferences such as the From The Ground Up series in southwestern Ontario (see attached file, or email us if there is no attachment).
