Protest turns violent in Caledonia, Gary McHale finally hospitalized

Anti Native organizer Gary McHale got the beats this past Saturday after non natives provoked violence at a protest against a Native smoke shop in Caledonia.

Quote:
The smoke shop which was contested on Saturday is about a kilometre away from the former Douglas Creek Estates, which Six Nations protesters have occupied since February 2006.

At one point during the more than hour-long incident, OPP formed a line to separate about 100 protesters from the natives that had gathered.

In a strongly worded press release, OPP said the protesters were "taunting and provoking those present."

I just saw the video

I just saw the video of the alleged "attack" and while I didn't see any punches thrown it did appear as if Gary McHale may have been given a humiliating "wedgie" as he ran away from the trouble that he stirred up in the first place.

I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

As if that wasn't enough!

After the scuffle McHale is ruthlessly mocked on camera as he's escorted away from the rally by OPP officers.
